Salt Lake Center Testing Center Clerk BYU is known for the exam and testing assistance they give to faculty members in their efforts to evaluate student learning and now you can be part of that effort.

By helping to maintain a secure and peaceful testing environment, you can help faculty have more time in class to teach and can help students have a positive experience with taking exams.

What you'll do in this position: · You will proctor exams for BYU Salt Lake Center, BYU Independent Study, and some BYU-Idaho students at the Salt Lake Testing Center.
· You will work with Salt Lake Center faculty to ensure that exams are set up, copied, and ready for the students.
· You will communicate with the Provo Testing Center, BYU Independent Study, and BYU-Idaho to ensure that tests arrive and are returned on time.
· You will ensure that the testing environment is free from all distractions to provide testers with an atmosphere where they can succeed.
· You will ensure that academic integrity is maintained.
What qualifies you for this role: Required · A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
· High school diploma.
· Ability to understand and maintain confidentiality and adhere to FERPA requirements is required.
Preferred · One year of work experience.
· Work experience in a testing center and knowledge of testing protocols · Strong attention to detail.
· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
