We operate a very successful BBQ restaurant and smoke all of our meats in-house.
We have a very motivated kitchen staff and are needing someone to run the kitchen.
Our restaurant hours are 11:00 am thru 8:00 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
We also do catering.
Our prep cook staff comes in at 7:00 am to prep the kitchen and prep catering orders.
Our head cook/kitchen manager normally comes in at 10:00 am and stays through closing and meat prep.
Salary/wages will be commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service
- Strong background in kitchen management and restaurant operations
- Proficiency in menu planning and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary experience and knife skills are essential
- Previous experience in catering and serving is a plus
- Experience in dietary department or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food service management, kitchen management, and customer service.
- Supervise and train staff members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
- Manage inventory control and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing and tracking.
- Coordinate catering events and banquet experiences, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and enforce health and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
- Interview, hire, and schedule team members to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menu offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor and evaluate restaurant performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
