*Grow Finish Production Manager*
*Snowflake, Arizona*
*Responsibilities:*
· Provide oversight and leadership for all nursery barns in Snowflake, Arizona (approximately 35,000-40,000 piglets)
· Steer farms and employees to achieve farm and system goals
· Coach animal caretakers on production practices and record keeping skills
· Help oversee general barn maintenance and communicate needs
· Clearly and concisely communicate with grow/finish and sow production teams
· Efficiently manage own schedule
· Help continue to develop best practices in a dynamic swine production model
*Required Skills and Knowledge:*
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to develop productive working relationships with a wide variety of individual personalities
· High integrity, commitment, respect, and care for all animals
· Ability to use basic Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-changing environment
· No exposure to pigs or direct contact with individuals caring for pigs that are not managed by AMVC Management Services
*Required Education or Experience:*
· Previous management experience – can be in a non-swine or agricultural field.
· Knowledge of modern swine production.
