*Cashiering *
Act as cashiers on sales of prescriptions and over-the-counter (OTC) products, including determining if the prescription is ready for pick up.
In determining a prescription’s readiness, a clerk may look in the computer system for status.
Must be able to count out money, have good customer service skills, and be courteous to all customers needs.
Position will be a standing position, must be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
Must be able to lift between 10-20 lbs.
*Pricing and stocking *
Send and receive orders to replenish the pharmacy’s stock, unpack and price the drugs, and place the drugs on the pharmacy’s shelves.
*Telephone *
Answer non-professional telephone inquiries, including receiving a refill request.
*OTC drugs *
Clerks may help patients find OTC products, restock, and price items.
*Position does require scrubs (one color tone no graphics)*
*30 & 90 Grace period based upon performance*
*Starting rate $15 based upon experience*
