Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939.
The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description Under close supervision, assist in and support the identification, assessment, reporting and correction of workplace environmental factors, unsafe conditions and behaviors at assigned site.
Assist site management in complying with Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
Assist in performing risk assessments, analyses of operational procedures, facility design, equipment and material, audits, and incident investigations.
Assist in the development and recommendation of appropriate remedial action in response to unsafe conditions or behavior.
Develop a current knowledge of Company, OSHA, MSHA and other regulations and standards.
Assist site management in developing Health & Safety plans and remedial actions.
Assist with drafting appropriate reports and presentations for management.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: One (1) year of working experience Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED EMT certificate Paramedic certificate Criteria/Conditions: Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required Freeport-McMoRan promotes a drug/ alcohol free work environment through the use of mandatory pre-employment drug testing and on-going random drug testing as per applicable state laws What We Offer You The estimated pay range for this role is currently $22.
00 - $30.
00/hour.
This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions.
Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
