, is seeking a skilled, reliable, and efficient HEAVY EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN to join our growing team.
Pay is based on experience, and ranges from $36-$39 hourly, depending on skill set.

*_ * Monday to Friday 6:00AM-4:00PM *Full job description* *Job Title:* *Heavy Equipment Technichian* *Safety Expectations:* All SWAPP employees are required to comply with all safety rules and to observe safe work practices and operating procedures at all times.
Whenever on SWAPP property or job sites, or operating SWAPP equipment, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-workers and others.
*Responsibilities/Job Duties:* · Diagnose and repair mobile heavy duty equipment in a mine setting.
· Follow paper-flow procedures, including documenting correct mileage/hours and safety procedures.
· Routine maintenance such as: changing oil, checking batteries, safety inspections, brake repairs, troubleshoot electrical issues, diagnosis, light welding skills, and repair, and lubricating equipment.
· Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
*Required Skills/Abilities:* * Willingness to obtain company provided forklift training * Reliable transportation to and from work * Strong work ethic * Minimum of 5 years experience (preferred) in industry or HD Truck Training · Physical Organization and time management · Flexibility in hours – overtime and weekend hours may be necessary * Passing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required.
* Must have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certificate *Physical Requirements:* * Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds * Observe and comply with necessary PPE requirements · Must be able to work in a noisy area with many odors present · Bending, stretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squatting *Experience:* 5 years (Preferred) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $36.
