We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team.
As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties.
This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of landscaping, irrigation systems, and mechanical skills.
```Duties:```
- Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems
- Inspect and troubleshoot irrigation systems to identify issues
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as adjusting sprinkler heads and valves
- Repair or replace damaged components of the irrigation system
- Ensure proper water distribution and coverage for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Dig trenches and lay pipes for irrigation system installation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
```Requirements:```
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or irrigation system installation/repair preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with different types of irrigation systems and components
- Ability to dig trenches and perform physically demanding tasks as needed
- Knowledge of lawn care practices and ability to assess water needs for different plants and landscapes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide exceptional customer service
